Our family has been growing vines in Champagne since 1629. Robert, our grandfather, acquired and developed his vineyard in Cuchery. He left it to us along with something essential: the conviction that a well-maintained vine stands the test of time.
We remember the pride he took in crafting his vintages… now it’s our turn. We strive to preserve that sincerity. The “La Croix Robert” vintage is dedicated to him.
The philosophy of Moussé Frères, which has been taking shape since 2017, is based on three key principles: sustainable viticulture, a particular focus on soil health to ensure a high-quality harvest, and patient vinification in stainless steel vats and oak barrels, which guarantees a rich and complex aromatic profile.
We are Mathieu and Nicolas; we run the estate together, combining our years spent in the vineyards and the winery with our experience in sales and the markets.
In 2022, we founded the association Les Greffons de la Vallée with our winemaker friends who share our philosophy; a group of winemakers who exchange ideas, organise events and introduce their terroirs to both professionals and wine enthusiasts. We are the link between what has been entrusted to us and what we will pass on.
